About Me and My Tutoring

Helping your kid succeed in Maths

My aim as a teacher is certainly to form in my learners a deep understanding and self-confidence at tests and being able to handle unfamiliar situations. My ideology is actually based on the idea that learning develops in an environment of reciprocal recognition where the learner is motivated to think and find new links for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one personal training has a special importance to students due to the option to break down the learners' particular difficulties to study in a way which lays the foundations for a lasting and deep comprehension of the material.

Student’s needs and learning style matter

My approach differs depending on the student's needs and learning style. But, the basis of my teaching theory is stimulating learners to think for themselves, operating existing examples wherever it can be. |To my mind it is vital to provide students with a working skills and to practice analytical skills for development upon this knowledge. Directing anyone to think analytically is at the fundamental of what exactly a child should really withdraw off any subject program.

We learn through examples

The most long-lasting improvements a coach are able to bring in is training children, and it is a procedure, which I consider to be fun and rewarding. From my experience, I found out the importance of involving students with the help of patterns and of delivering content at a degree which implies brainpower but not specifically knowledge, mixing the unknown with the known in a solution which gives the child the disposition of likelihood rather than that of impossibility that impressive and authoritative ways can impose.

How I teach

I begin with themes the students are familiar with and proceed step-by-step towards more challenging areas while their self-confidence is being grown. I bring into play questions and examples to verify perceiving consistently. I tend not to lecture to students or tell them to remember information. Nor do I accomplish the students' homework for them!

I basically concentrate on test-style or prior paper questions to review, work at and perfect the student's recognising and practice. I additionally give a lot of importance to some of the not so vital but obvious skill sets for example, essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the helpful use of numbers and graphs.

My hobbies

My hobbies

I like participating in all types of sports such as footy, volleyball, rugby, and soccer. My favorite team is the Sydney Swans and I love going to their games. I love hanging out with my friends because I always have a good time no matter what. Some things I like to do with them are going to the shows, shopping, going to the beach in the summer, and playing sports with them.

Listening to music is one of my favorite hobbies. I listen to just about every type of music there is except for country. My ipod has all my favorite music on it and I bring it everywhere I go. I don't know what I would do without my ipod. Since where I live there are two shores within walking distance I love to go to the beach during the summer. I can spend my whole day at the beach and never get bored. I love to lay in the sun, go swimming in the ocean, and kayaking with my buddies.

I love to travel even thought I don't do it that often. I had the best time of my life when I traveled to Ireland and I prefer I could go back every year.

More about myself as a tutor image

A Little About Myself

I have always been the student that inquires much! I remember this being something that for a long period of time made me feel somewhat ashamed in classes, and now after experiencing numerous rounds of examination periods I have seen lots of advantages of asking all those inquiries! I really feel that because of this I will have a good empathy with my students, and wish that I am able to offer a comfortable space where they feel able to ask me anything. Additionally, due to this I am currently extra familiar with how to deliver excellent solutions!
